We’re the Freds! We are named after Fred Collignon. If you went to our first general meeting, he was our Rotarian guest speaker. Over the years, Professor Collignon has taught at UC Berkeley, represented the south side neighborhoods on the Berkeley City Council, served as the local Berkeley Rotary Club President, and is now the current governor of Rotary District 5160. Our family is named after Fred because of his many years of dedication to Cal Rotaract as an advisor and mentor.
Just like Fred, we want to support and grow one another as a family this semester and of course have amazing socials, bondings, and adventures! We have so many ideas to bring everyone together, have a good time and of course be the family favorite of the semester. Our theme will be exploring the wilderness we call home: Berkeley! Whether it’s geocaching, hiking Fire Trails, sightseeing, going on foodie family dates, visiting the new BAMPFA museum, adventuring to Fisherman’s Wharf in SF, we want to get out there! Sunset to sunrise, you’ll be in good hands with the Freds!
